Create and Maintain Tourbooks

Build Tourbook

Step 1: Sign in and Create Tourbook 

• From your computer, go to https://tours.propertycapsule.com/ and click “Sign In” 

• When signed in, click “Create New Tourbook” on the top left of screen 

Step 2: Choose Tenant on Tour and Market

• Enter your retail tenant
• Enter market area
• Click “Next” on bottom of the screen

• Enter any competitive or complementary retailers
• Click “Next” on bottom of the screen

Step 3: Choose Properties

• On the map, zoom into desired area or on the upper left type in a property name
• If you see the property you want on the map, click on it and click “Add To Tourbook”
• If you want to add a property not already on the map, click “Add Property” at top right

• Click “Next” on bottom of the screen

Step 4: Set Chapters for Sub-markets/Groups

• Click + graphic below list of properties on to add a new group/market for properties 

(this will dynamically generate an overview page and demographics for each section)

• Click “Next” on bottom of the screen

Step 5: Select demographics and heatmaps

• Adjust any demographic options, click “Next” on bottom of the screen

• Adjust any heatmap options, click “Next” on bottom of the screen

Step 6: Update details

• Update any additional details
• Update logo, name of tourbook, cover page text, add broker contacts
• Click “Build my tourbook” on bottom of the screen

Step 7:   Review and edit finalize

i) Simple Path A:

• Click “Save Tourbook” button on bottom of the page

ii) Preferred Path B:

• On the Overview page, click on top right “Edit Map”
• Click lower right +/- graphic to zoom in or out
• Options to modify with layers menu on the left side of map

• Add, Edit, Move, Hide Retailers

• Click “Save” in top right of map when ready

• Click “Demographics” as the next page in left tray of thumbnails
• On the top right of map click on “Edit Map”
• Make any edits, click “Save” in top right of map when ready

• Click “Income Heatmaps” as the next page in left tray of thumbnails
• On the top right of map click on “Edit Map”
• Make any edits, click “Save” in top right of map when ready

• Click the “Property” as the next page in left tray of thumbnails
• In the large quickview hovering in middle of page, from any of the tabs for Photos, Docs, or Notes edit as desired to upload and manage content
• Able to edit the map on this page as well

• When reaching the thank you page
• Click “Save Tourbook” button on bottom of the page

• In pop-up window, type in email address to send the tourbook to your recipient 
• Type in a short message for any context

Tourbook Viewer

• View in web browser as a recipient clicking on tourbook from email, or from your homepage of tourbooks
